Hours:  Part Time (20 hours flexible), half days between Monday and Friday.  

This role has the opportunity to become Full- Time.


Salary: £45,000 per year (FTE)

Role profile: 

  • Lead clinical strategy as we scale in the IAPT marketplace
  • Provide clinical oversight and support the management of our NHS and IAPT client relationships
  • Work with the relationship lead whilst owning the clinical responsibility for the delivery of service
  • Coordinate the work of high intensity therapists, psychological wellbeing practitioners and supervisors
  • Take overall responsibility for risk and safeguarding issues, creating and providing oversight of policies and procedures
  • Take overall responsibility for the supervision and line management of the clinical team
  • Evaluate clinical requirements of the portfolio of patients at contract implementation, to assess the level of care and duration of treatment required, ensuring caseload is within Dr Julian capabilities.
  • Review and assign therapists with appropriate skillsets to each contract.
  • Escalate cases which fall out of the agreed service agreement, and work with relationship lead to renegotiate contracts where required
  • Assist in the recruitment and training of therapists and supervisors
  • Representing Dr Julian at NHS and IAPT marketing events
  • Reporting directly into the Chief Executive Officer

 

Technical Skills and Competencies:

  • Experience of running an NHS IAPT service (essential)
  • Proven experience of clinical supervision and management
  • Doctoral level (or equivalent) clinical psychologists, counselling psychologists or CBT Therapists
  • BABCP accreditation is desirable or you can work towards obtaining this during your first year in post
  • HCPC accreditation is mandatory
  • IAPT supervisor qualifications (essential)
